Harbin China city ice snow festival colourful lights show winter illuminations crowd fair

Ice City

Welcome to Harbin, a city in North East China, which every year hosts a two month long ice and snow festival.

Tourists endure temperatures of -4o degrees Fahrenheit to visit the city's colourfully lit ice sculptures, and watch adrenaline-nuts brave the polar plunge.

Through the effort of over 7,000 workers, the 64,000 square-foot city is constructed in roughly two weeks.
