Yshah nasce da un primo studio della lingua e della cultura ebraica nella sua forma non necessariamente religiosa. La "creazione" dell'uomo viene descritta come l'elaborazione di un 'Ysh, di un uomo, ovvero di colui che vede il visibile. Egli non era completo perciò gli venne messa al fianco 'Yshah, la donna, ovvero colei che vede oltre il visibile. Mi piace molto questa descrizione e ho dedicato a questa capacità del femminino sacro un occhio tutto per lei, un occhio che dipana la nebbia e vede obiettivamente la realtà delle cose. Il quadro ha una cornice con un bordo di legno di 1 cm che corre lungo tutto il perimetro.

I, an alien series (2019) touches on the subject of femininity. It tries to represent a woman as a multi-dimensional being that embraces everything that she is. Her strengths and weaknesses blend collaborating and exchanging roles. An element of alienation might have various connotations. A woman viewing herself from the point of being a physical body and everything that this involves, and then moving towards mental or emotional estrangement,being conflicted within herself, and interpreting that conflict into the outside environment. The word “alien” has many definitions here such as being out of this world, coming from a fantasy land, considering oneself strange or eerie.
