This painting is one of my most accurate self-portraits. You smile because you often want to catch a glimpse of the subject in a portrait ... but no. Here we are like unstructured essence, like a voice anchored to the vocal cords that protect and hold a hissing sound ... or a cry ... The sound is photographed at the moment of ascent, of leaking from my resonance chamber before you become a Voice, or the one you only hear you and of which I have a different perception. The throat as the fifth blue chakra, external, communicates, expresses itself creatively with sincerity of itself.the frame is present only on the smaller sides of the work. Thickness 2 cm.

The northern light and skies and their unique and ever changing design have always inspired me and are the basis of my artistic work. The night and specially the sky at night, with the moon hiding behind the clouds and creating this magical atmosfear are very inspiring moments for me. This painting is a tribute to Lapland, to the savage swedish landscapes, to my home country. It is an expression of my admiration and fascination to the Northern skies and the silence of the nights in Laponia. I experienced the search for this particular light this summer and it was a magical experience. I felt like an explorer, a gold digger, a tresure hunter… Every night I went out in the woods, hopfull and patient, looking for the magic aurora borealis. This fantastic feeling of discovering something new and rare is for me what makes life so interesting. Pigments applied on stretched canvas and satin varnish finish.
