I am a Bulgarian stage and fashion designer and also a painter. I create decors and costumes for opera, ballet and cinema. I am the author of fashion collections for various establishments.

I have been painting all my life. The art that I create is my cause and message to the world. My paintings – compositions, landscapes and portraits represent my aspiration towards unity of spirit and matter, space and time. I am inspired by the spiritual messages and the hidden symbolic of past eras, styles and their artefacts, the magnitude of nature. My imagination transcends the limitations and conditionalities of time in search of God and light in both the visible and invisible.

I feel very close to my identity the aesthetic and spiritual messages of the Baroque, Secession, and Art Deco. These three styles played dramatic role in my early work and helped me build my personal style.

I can describe my art as contemporary symbolism based on complex eclectic unity of styles and eras. My paintings recreate my most intimate dreams where the spirit breaks the chains of the matter and the specifics of time and space and starts hovering above baroque gardens, Roman fountains, sunny southern seas, the majestic mountains of Monte Negro, Mediterranean islands, shining mosaics and multi-colour marble of Roman and Byzantine altаrs of the Adriatic.... in search of eternity....
