Baffled Euterpie

2018oil on canvas

30 x 70 cm

Baffled Euterpie is the ancient muse of music, who, being immortal, has lived untill today. In the past to listen to music she would just sit next to musicians and enjoy, but nowadays she is faceing numeous challenges. In my painting she is trying to listen to one of our spectacular sound devices...but she has problems coping with technology...she is trying to plug in, but the plugs do not match.
