The Art Of Life is a series of portraits of various people in a modern and abstract format. To live prosperously in this world we must first learn how to live well with others. May that be with your mother, father, sister or friend, work associate or stranger. This series is a tribute to us all for doing our best to master this valuable skill, as difficult as it may be sometimes.

Driven from within Mona’s abstract art and other works comes from a place of gratitude and understanding one’s self. Mona’s artistic career has spanned over 10 years with the last two years being fully professional.

‘Art is beautiful’ is this artist’s simple philosophy, she believes it should bring joy to one’s heart and one’s life.

This self-taught Australian abstract artist and photographer works in a wide variety of mediums. Her work is inspired by the moment, a feeling, a memory, an emotion, an experience, thus bringing the artworks to life. She also currently focuses on photography, including hyper collage photography, where numerous photographs are used in a meticulous laying process. Beginning with a single focal point, from a background colour, image, mood or feeling she manipulates and assembles the many parts together, one step at a time to produce one unique, intricately woven, homogenised composition. A piece of work beyond the usual, that allows you to immerse yourself into the artwork and discover. Each piece has a story to tell and it is this progression of ideas, vision, passion, energy and excitement that brings her artworks to life.

In her paintings she ranges from using vivid bursting colours to subdued palettes, each a depiction of something close to her heart. She plays with form and colour bringing a richness, vibrancy and depth to each of her works.

Her cosmopolitan lifestyle allows her to express her creativity in different ways. Experiencing various cultures and societies has contributed in her evolution as an individual and as an artist. Her travels include India, China, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, South Africa, Europe to name a few. She has also had the exposure of living in Australia, Switzerland, U.K. and Namibia.

'Art is Beauty. Art is Love. Art is Life' was a solo exhibition held in Windhoek, Namibia in 2019. 'I Love Art' was another solo exhibition held in Sydney, Australia in 2010.

“I love what I do and when I am painting or taking photographs or creating art I am transported to a place of peace and solitude, happiness and contentment, energy and inspiration.”
