"The Heroine" is part of the "In the city" series. The heroine in this photo makes her way through the city brushwood. She walks with a firm step, sure of herself and knowing that she will break the grip of the out-of-control virus waves. I didn't see her face, it was hidden behind her mask, the one she uses every day to make her way through people. Eyes were on her and her outfit, as well as on her grace and determination. Oblivious to the “noise”, she walked safely, confidently. Sheltered behind a window, I saw her meeting two other heroines of veiled identity. Eventually, all three got lost in the crowd. Then I came out of my hiding place with the desire to become a hero myself. I wore a mask and with a courageous step, I got safely lost in the streets.

I was born in Madrid in 1975. I've got a degree in law. I live between Madrid, Brussels and London. I've been very passionate about Photography for more than 10 years and that love affair goes on.

Self-taught photographer and emerging artist, for the last three years I've studied, experimented and eventually mastered the technique of multiple exposure in camera (not relaying in software) with the goal of making my photography looking like impressionist paintings.

I find inspiration in the beauty of natural elements in urban settings, creating an impressionistic effect, or in city dwellers passing by, creating a reflection effect.

The city has always been the environment where I liked living, therefore streets of any city or village are the scene of my photography.

With my camera I portrait a world with no troubles, full of light-hearted vivacity, vibrant colours and light. I believe a create a dimension of that scene by registering different angles as well as capturing the movement, light, colour and also people who could pass by at that time. There is a lot of reality in my photography, although it appears transformed in the eyes of any viewer.
