In all my work there is a part of me I don’t mean just the painting but the characters If it’s a Goddess I dream of the beauty and the way she portrays herself full of confidence and spirit. My cartoons I like to have my character in there one who is always looking super cool and dressed to kill. For the conspirators I like the toughness I like a bully in there (there is always a bully somewhere) and the boss then all the hangers on the people who do the bosses bidding. In this one, it looks like two gangs which may turn into a bit of conflict but the one boss is outnumbered and whats to hold the others back, many onlookers are trying desperately to keep out of the way but don’t want to miss any action. I want my people to have a bit of character, a little of the night about them I want them to be unique.

About Ta Thimkaeo

One of the best selling artist on ArtFinder 2018

Ta’s work is rapidly attracting a growing international audience, and it is clear that this multi-talented artist is in a league of her own, and is helping to put Thailand on the world map regarding fine arts. Her art explores many styles, from Modernism through Impressionism, Expressionism and Cubism.

Ta started life as an artist in 2011 working in a studio on Koh Samui where she worked with one of the finest artists on the island. Though mostly self-taught it was apparent she had a natural talent for painting.

In 2012 Ta opened up her gallery in Samui which was very successful and in 2014 decided to concentrate on selling her art online. Ta had her first selected exhibition in 2016 on the beautiful island of Koh Samui was is also a finalist in a prestigious exhibition which was to be held in London in early 2017 and in 2018 the Editors of ArtFinder picked Ta as one to watch and invest in.

Thanks to the boundless possibilities of online galleries my paintings have sold to private collections in The United States, Europe, Australia, Canada, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Hong Kong, Peru, Singapore, South Korea and of course Thailand, up to now in 29 countries. Not bad for a girl from the rice fields of Thailand!
