ON EXHIBITION

Dreaming of the future (robotic art as a facilitator in the dynamic of shaping a vision of the future). Robotics art opens the door to the world of artificial intelligence, a world of networks, signs, simulations and introduces human-robot interaction as a new field of meta existence where active participants may find a place of their own. Robotic technologies continually inspire us to see the world around us as a great stage and to continually reexamine and remodel it. This way, we are creating a new area that will become part of our collective experience, and simultaneously a new area for action and reflection focused on raising awareness of all its participants. Thus we are entering a new era of invention and through the robotic art prototypes (Blue-eyed Dragon robot, Green dream, Fay robotic, Art-eco robots) with unique visual identity set them apart from any previous experience users might have had. Here we must mention results obtained from the users and registered monitoring of the performance. A participant is fully involved, his/her passivity is no longer authentic. All projects include the embodiment of fantasy as a base which is implemented in prototypes of robotic systems and/or video games, as well as inclusion of their potential for the development of social fields. The other included values regards to historical and anthropological aspects within the entire idea could be better understood. Robotics employed possesses state-of-the-art technological capabilities and an online connection, which enables to achieve observable results in the field of human-robot interactivity and perform many tasks that existing interactive systems could not achieve, whereas the benefits in terms of disseminating meaningful values are yet to be revealed. The blue-eyed Dragon Robot social robotic work of art combines recycling and cultural awareness First AUTHORa.1 Biljana Biba Vicković, Mag.art _The Association of Fine Artists of Serbia ULUS • UNESCO since 1919. Myths and legends about Dragons are the ancient cultural heritage of all countries of Europe. [5], “Dragon Robot” is a meeting place where science on tracking mythical creatures and new technologies create a modern fairy tale, which connects tradition and the future. Dragon Robot art artifact bronze sculpture is a cyber sign of possibilities that are ahead of us, introduces human-robot interaction as an inner space of meta existence, where an active participant is positioned. By doing so, participant’s, as consumers of culture, experience ancient myths and dragon legends through exciting interactive and technology-integrated learning and entertainment. Dragon’s operating multisectoral basic system with tin-recycling function (Based on the existing prototype powered by renewable energy sources: solar/ wind/ hydro) will enable the development of a new concept as a social robotic work of art for public space, with the main function of integrative protection of cultural heritage, customized with social-cultural and environmental impact to human society. The essences of “Dragon robot” work of art was to transform an artistic sculpture (monumental sculpture in bronze) by using a robotic system that would have been located in public places. “Dragon Robot” is an active factor that discovers new possibilities of the cultural revitalization of public spaces and ecological approach. The goal of such implementation was to give the power to the arts through the robotics and enrich the society with collective experience and make space to upgrade the consciousness of the consumers.  An example which discusses the design of social robots in line with anthropomorphism is outlined in [3], and as a result and final outcome of a collaboration between the following: Artists, Scientists in the field of scientific and technological development, Social sciences researchers (history and anthropology), Screenplay writers, Architects is a project set in front of the Belgrade Municipality of Vračar building in 2009.  “Green dream” project concept has been developed through the technology-integrated learning and entertainment models and it represents a blend of artistic expression and advanced technology. The “Green Dream” interactive communication enables the logic of a fantastic world to be available to the players in a way that they can express their creativeness. The participant’s role is to affect the event (areas and) by his/her conduct and by playing the game using exoskeleton as interactive tricks to transforming the space in the video game in which it’s moving. The artificial intelligence of this system allows each “Green dream” player to record the adventure permanently on digital DVD/USB format, which a player gets after the game is won. The idea of the “Green dream” project is to introduce users/players to the physical area of artistic fantasy, which we named “Green dream” playground facilities. Upon entering, the user will continue to explore a virtual “Green dream” fantastic world and its unusual logistics by using exoskeleton and specially designed gadgets (having the options to overflown from one platform to another one, and to transforming the space in which it’s moving. All changes are authentic. Authentic creative experience for each player). The exploration method used in the Virtual ”Green dream” world is based on tasks. Tasks are easy and non-burdensome, but intriguing enough to instigate the visitor’s ardent desire to go on with his exploratory adventure and reach the final level of the fantasy. Once the final level of this Video game sonnet is reached, the idea of interactive communication with the fantasy world of “Green dreams” is accomplished.

ABOUT ME
My professional S.F. and Fantasy artistic orientations I have gained in the New York scene through cooperation with the New York-based Vilamedia. FX Factory interactiv project granted in 2002. with prestigious international Prix Ars Electronica. Authorized projects (“Blue-eyed Dragon robot”, “Green dream”,“Fay robotic”,“Arteco robots”,”Robomem”,”Reciplet”) created since 2003.-2020 combined innovative artistic tendencies through socially responsible activities based on Robotic art, Educational robotics, Wearable robotics in Game design and Social robotics powered by renewable energies sources, as a facilitator in the dynamic of shaping a vision of the future. I’ve been developing innovative aspects since graduating at the Faculty of Arts in Belgrade mostly in the area of SF and fiction. I would also like to emphasize that the field of fantasy is something I`m completely determined to. The source of my inspiration is in my dreams, which are the base for my artistic inspiration and research. I will use it to highlight K.G Jung's. Jung wrote: „And the essential thing, psychologically, is that in dreams, fantasies, and other exceptional states of mind the most far-fetched mythological motifs and symbols can appear autochthonously at any time, often, apparently, as the result of particular influences, traditions, and excitations working on the individual, but more often without any sign of them.Other included project values are historical, anthropological ones within which the basic idea could be understood. The goal of such implementation was to, give the power to the arts through robotics and enrich the society with collective experience and make space to upgrade the consciousness of the consumers (using human-robot interaction as a working method). Blue-eyed Dragon robot is in attach, the project is set in front of the Belgrade Municipality of Vračar building in 2009.
