Marek is an expressionist artist, exposing and or expressing the complexity and disfunction of the heavily conditioned, often wounded, deeply suppressed and overflowing mind through painting.
Marek was born in Poland, permanently living in United Kingdom.
In his work Marek expresses and or exposes the human dysfunction and or unquestioned beliefs. The heavily conditioned, complex, often traumatised and overflowing mind which has to be seen as it is to stop spreading it from generation to generation.
Marek's painting is a spontaneous and effortless work. He often feels that he is guided by the unknown, some mysterious forces and or energy. Some of his works represent a few emotions and or beliefs other are much more complex and deeper with layers and layers of different degrees of emotions often blended with psychic energy.
In his work he uses different media like plaster, sand, heavily woven textile and more to underline the layer and different strength of emotions and or energy.
Some of his works are untitled because he says no words would ever describe that, instead, he invites viewers to connect with the object and see or feel that for themselves.
