I hope that through my art I can give everyone little reprive from reality, if they want it, and help them discover the magic within the mundane. Thanks a lot for listening to me. Hope you have an amazing time ahead.
The upcoming international, virtual, group exhibition, 'Feuer' by Kunsthaus Rozig of LA and Germany featuring my work, a photograph, starting from 4th July to 24th July 2021.
Hello. I am Debarpita Sarkar, a 21-year-old engineering and business student from West Bengal, India, who doesn't know what she would do if she has to live without art. I believe that creativity is the key to truly live your live and imagination can take you anywhere and even though I am greatly lacking the confidence to call myself an artist, I still hope that my art can give you a reprieve from reality if you need it and can help you see the magic within mundane. Thank you so much for listening to me. Hope you have an amazing time ahead.
This has far less to do with technique than to the mediums I use but that being said, I mostly draw on paper, using colour pencils but I love to mix mediums, so all my paintings use other materials too, some of which are conventional, i.e water colour, oil pastel etc., and others are not so much, e.g- mix of pencil shavings or flaky paper etc.
The "Blau" international, virtual group exhibition featuring two of my works, one digital painting and one photograph, by Kunsthaus Rozig, curated by Connie Kurtew and Eugene Huffman from LA and Germany. 6th-26th July, 2021
