My work over the past 4 years, dealt with subjects related to my life, could be something common to the most painters but I chose to outline it with a Psychedelic and Op Art influences.
After I graduated, I was determined to start a project called “Psychedelic Moods” with a series of works that will reveal my feelings, emotions (as an artist), in contact with other people, to unfold an emotional transition between cold and warm.
I hope that the beautiful contrast between these two factors start to create a wonderful connection with the public that comes in contact with, and of course to generate feelings of revival.
The crazy characters that you will find in my art, represent my childish humorist temperament and sometimes build up a new and unpredictable cycles of thoughts and associations with the cartoon characters. On the other side, the geometric shapes represent a power of honesty, acceptance, self belief, loving, being grateful, the privilege and forthright that built me up as a person with all the challenges, twists and turns that hit me every day in my life, (probably I will start to write a book).
All of my works are painted in acrylic technique. It is a technique which I love because is getting dry faster, doesn’t smell and you can add as many layers as you want for a matte appearance, in a relative short period, and of course once dry, can’t be removed, which is great!
I have particular enthusiasm for paintings made of: Andy Warhol, Victor Vasarely, Josef Albers, Damien Hirst, Frank Stella, Alex Grey, Amanda Sage and many more!
