Adrian Drinceanu is an artist from Romania. During his master studies he was an erasmus student in the Academy of Fine Arts, Zagreb for one semester. Since graduation he has been interested in creating installation art out of mirrors, which becomes an inspiration for painting related scenes. The idea for these creations are driven by the infinite ways the surroundings may alter if only to look at them from divergent points of view.

Adrian Drinceanu is a young artist, graduate of the National University of Art Bucharest in Mural Art department.
In both Bachelor and Master's diploma projects, he was interested in the art of installation, which he continues to study now. At the same time, the young artist seeks to improve himself in the field of painting, approaching a style at the boundary between figurative and abstract. Although it addresses various themes, one can observe the artist's tendency to the individual's annoyance, to the duality that he considers to be found in the personality of each of us. In painting, Adrian goes from a clear form of an image interpretation that he distorts by experimenting with diverse abstract lines, reaching out to suggest the message through symbols and color.
Regarding installations, the artist uses reflective surfaces like mirrors as its main material, exploring the visual effects it has on the environment. Each angle gives another perspective on the works. Depending on their location in the environment, the mirrors will give the impression that the landscape continues where it no longer exists. Mirrors are a very appealing study material with a very wide range of documentation and numerous possibilities to create abstract compositions simply by placing them in natural spaces. Out of public space they create camouflage, distorting images. Depending on the way it is presented, the mirror art is one of a great magnitude, with a great impact on the viewer. It will be the center of interest no matter where it will be located.
