Kalina Juzwiak, or just “kaju”, is a creative and artistic entrepreneur. Diversity and flexibility is what motivates her. New places, new ideas, new surfaces, new challenges every day. Creativity is her main tool. She lives (from) her art with a systemic view, uniting discipline and determination to a pro-active imagination. She is constantly developing her abilities to transform compositions - and situations - into provocative movements and moments of reflection to those that observe them. She uses art as tool to enhance consciousness and perception of reality, actively inspiring a change of her context. And this is why so many leading companies have chosen her to transform their visions into reality and create projects that make people reflect.
She has worked with various world-wide brands, from diverse markets, such as Johnson&Johnson, Redken L’Oréal, Pullman Hotels, Hilton Hotels, MontBlanc, Starbucks, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar, Cetaphil, and many others.
Kalina was born in Santos, close to the ocean, on the coast of Brazil. Very early on her family moved to São Paulo, a concrete jungle, and known as one of the biggest cities in the world. A city with a vast history, culture, food scene and a eccentric art world. However, on the weekends and during the holidays, they all learnt to care, love and respect nature and its beauties by travelling back to the coast or inland. Despite her birth country, her family’s ancestry lies in Poland and Switzerland. That is why Kalina and her sisters grew up in a vibrant colourful country, but within a fairly European way of life.
Kalina lived in Brazil for all her life and that’s where she chose to study Architecture and Urban Planning. After working with national and international architectural teams, she found her true passion in the union of personal creative tools and multidisciplinary projects. And eventually decided to deepen her knowledge in graphic design as an addition to her tool box of skills.
