If you list all the things that really matter to you, communication is probably not in first place. And yet, all of the items on your list require communication. What is it for you? Self-expression? Freedom and autonomy? More appreciation for your work and success?
Marketing is communication that can help you with all of those. It makes you more visible to your potential buyers and conveys what you want to say to them as well as what they want to know from you. Especially with the art market growing rapidly, you need to present more than just a picture.
I know that you have other things in mind than the "commercial" necessities of your work. Well, what if I told you that there is no need for marketing to be commercial? What if I told you that it is your authenticity that your potential buyers want to see the most? It is all about communication and this is what I do.
It was my father Jens Oelker who introduced me to ARTMO. Upon his request, I started to investigate the social art network and got curious about its marketing benefits. Now I am sharing my findings with you in the Online Art Marketing group. Feel free to join! ?
With my website under construction, there will be more articles soon. Want to be notified when it launches?

My #Art Is Writing for the Web
Since my whole family is surrounded by art or photography, professionally or by hobby, I have always been close to the passion and wonders they emit. Naturally, this is the industry I love and want to work in. ?
Communication I found by myself. I was 11 years old when I first started creating websites. By the time I graduated from my literature studies and linguistics, obtaining the Master of Arts title, I supported 2 browser games; the first as chat moderator and game guide creator, the second as creative writer and translator. While I then crafted my goals for the future, I added further training in Online and Website Marketing to my experience, running a creativity blog to solidiy the learned.
