„In my paintings I intend to search of a natural sensation that can be restored also when you avoid the recipes of mannerist formula. This means a continuous reconstruction of the surfaces and also finding ingenious relations between different plastic language elements. The point, the line, the spot, the ornament, the sign, the substantiality, the model are creatively „recycled” according to its off-to-cuff intentions. The vibration of the rendering colour, the exageration of the value, chromatic, material and texture contrasts, also the full-empty contrast, the equilibrium-accident successions, dilution-concentration – all of them provoke concentrated tensions and have the same final purpose: expressiveness.” 2001 by Marius Crăiță-Mândră
